5-year-old dies from electrocution

A five-year-old from Mandaluyong City died after being electrocuted on May 3 while staying at a transient house in Barangay Patar, Bolinao. According to initial investigations, power suddenly went out at the place where the child’s family was lodged, prompting a transient house staff to start the generator.

A live cable connected to the generator was found touching the ground, to which the child may have come into contact with, resulting in the fatal electrocution. The child was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital but was declared dead on arrival by the attending physician.

P374K shabu seized in San Manuel drug ops

LAW enforcers in Pangasinan confiscated P374,000 worth of suspected shabu and arrested two persons in separate anti-illegal drug operations conducted in Barangay Sto. Domingo, San Manuel.

The Police Regional Office 1 (PRO1)with the  Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit 1 (RPDEU1) as the lead unit, with support from RID PRO1, RIU1, PDEG SOU1, the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Pangasinan, and the San Manuel Municipal Police Station spearheaded the buy-bust operations that led to the apprehension of a 38-year-old farmer from San Manuel and a 25-year-old man from the neighboring town of Umingan.

High-value drug target nabbed in Bayambang ops

POLICE apprehended a high-value individual during a buy-bust operation conducted in Barangay Nalsian Norte, Bayambang. The suspect, identified as a 55-year-old male resident of Rizal St., Poblacion, was taken into custody by personnel of the Philippine National Police (PNP), in coordination with the 105th Memorandum Circular Regional Mobile Force Battalion 1 and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) RO1.

During the operation, law enforcement recovered 16.5 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated street value of P112,200.

Online seller found dead in rented house

A 33-year-old online seller was discovered dead in his rented home in Sitio Hi Lander, Barangay Mayombo, Dagupan City. The victim, Lorenzo Doler Fabia Jr., a resident of Naguilian, Binmaley, was found by his landlady at around 7:30 p.m. on May 5.

According to the landlady, she last saw Fabia in the early hours of May 4, during which she witnessed him accidentally fall to the floor, hitting the right side of his body, but immediately proceeded to his room. The cause of death is currently under investigation.
