EASTER Sunday Vigil reenacts the meeting between the Risen Christ and the Blessed Mother Mary, after His resurrection. Held at the Tondaligan Blue Beach, the re-creation of the encounter includes the interaction between Jesus and St. John the Apostle, the city’s Patron Saint.

This festive celebration of vibrant Filipino Catholic tradition “Salubong” also marks the start of the Bangus Festival in honor of St. John ‘The Fisherman’. Organized by the city government of Dagupan led by Mayor Belen Fernandez, the dawn Easter Mass was celebrated by Fr. Emmanuel Ferrer, Fr. Mario Morales and Fr. Allan Abuan in association with One Bonuan, Annunciation of the Lord Parish, the St. Gabriel the Archangel Parish, and the Mary Help of Christians College Seminary. (Dagupan CIO Photos)

MALAMIG NA ANG ASTRODOME!!!

MAYOR Belen Fernandez inspected the newly installed air-conditioning units of Astrodome with City Engr. Josephine Corpuz. She said the acquisition and installation of the new units were made possible by the swift approval of the Supplemental Budget No. 2 by  Councilors Michael Fernandez, Jigs Seen, Dennis Canto, Lino Fernandez and Bradley Benavidez during the suspension period of Councilors Irene Lim-Acosta, Alfie Fernandez and Red Erfe-Mejia. The three were members of the  majority bloc that refused to approve the budget.
