2 senior citizens found dead in Sual
AUTHORITIES discovered the bodies of two senior citizens inside their home in the mountainous part of Sual after receiving a report from Barangay Chairman Reynaldo Berting of Barangay Baybay Norte.
Barangay officials visited the couple’s home and found them in an advanced state of decay. The deceased were Rosa Santa Rosa, who was suffering from mental illness and her live-in partner, Andres Melio Magallano, who had been paralyzed for over 20 years.

4 nabbed in cable wire theft
POLICE apprehended four persons accused of stealing aerial copper cable wires from a telecommunications company in Sison.
A security guard, 37-year-old Bernie Estacio Fernandez, reported the theft, which led to the arrest of three maintenance crew members of subcontractors of the DICT, namely, Joven de Asis from San Mateo, Rizal, Reggie Catunlad from Zamboanga Sibugay, Aldrin Locaña, from Dagum, Samar; and Jerome Tadije, the driver from Balaoan, La Union. Authorities confiscated 56 meters of aerial copper cable with an estimated value of P39,520.

5 injured in car accident
FIVE people were injured after a car hit a tricycle then slammed into an electric post in Barangay Quibaol, Lingayen.
According to police investigation, the tricycle was being driven by 43-year-old Herby Pagal, a resident of Barangay Población, Lingayen with two passengers: 59-year-old Sarah De Guzman Cruz and 39-year-old Estella Felix, both vendors from Binmaley. The car was driven by 28-year-old Dr. Ezzyr Martinez, from Lingayen, and had one passenger with him. Martinez admitted to having consumed alcohol and was driving at a high speed when the collision occurred.

Drug dealer nabbed in drug-bust ops
A suspected street-level dealer and resident of Barangay Poblacion, Burgos, was arrested for selling illegal drugs in Alaminos City.
Arrested was Rafael Rodolfo and seized from him were a heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing approximately one gram of suspected shabu, valued at around P6,800, three heat-sealed sachets containing about three grams of shabu, estimated to be worth P20,400. The police also recovered buy-bust money and a cellphone from the suspect.

Farmer nabbed with drugs in checkpoint
POLICE apprehended a man in Asingan who was found in possession of illegal drugs and a firearm after attempting to evade a checkpoint in Barangay Carusucan Sur.
The suspect was identified as Robert Obello, also known as “Toyong,” a 36-year-old farmer and local resident. When asked for his driver’s license, Obello was unable to produce it and appeared anxious, leading the officers to become suspicious. He attempted to start his motorcycle, but police prevented his escape. A subsequent search uncovered a caliber .45 pistol with 32 bullets; one bullet for a .22 caliber gun, a glass tooter, an open transparent plastic sachet containing suspected shabu residue, and machete and a sickle.

Manager arrested in drug-bust ops
POLICE arrested a 27-year-old branch manager of a finance company during a buy-bust sting in Barangay Carmay East, Rosales.
The suspect, identified as Nicki Javier Ravara, who serves as the Acting Branch Manager of a microfinance institution. Authorities also confiscated a loaded .9mm pistol without a serial number, along with a magazine and three bullets. The gathered evidence and the suspect were promptly turned over to the police, and appropriate charges have already been filed.

Road rage between 2 tricycle drivers led to stabbing
A seemingly routine encounter between two tricycle drivers in Villasis turned violent, culminating in a stabbing incident.
According to the police, the two drivers were navigating the streets of Poblacion Zone 2 when a confrontation occurred. The suspect, 43-year-old Jay-ar Gamboa of Barangay Poblacion Zone 2, honked at the victim, 28-year-old Mark Mostoles from Poblacion Zone 1, who suddenly stopped when the tricycle he was following stopped abruptly halt to pick up passengers. The situation led to a heated argument, when Gamboa retrieved an ice pick from his tricycle and attacked Mostoles who sustained a stab wound to the chest. He was rushed to Urdaneta District Hospital for medical attention. Villasis police arrested Gamboa at the scene and recovered the ice pick used in the attack.

Employee stabbed by ex-customer
A 31-year-old employee was injured after being stabbed by a former customer in Rosales.
According to the police, the victim, Winslow Laput, was riding his motorcycle and had stopped in front of the home of the alleged assailant, 38-year-old Mario Ang Jr., who resides in Barangay Zone 4, Rosales. The suspect rudely informed the victim that parking in front of his property was prohibited. Laput recognized Ang as a recent customer from his workplace, tried to pacify him but the situation escalated into a heated argument, ultimately resulting in the stabbing. Authorities are in the process of preparing a case of frustrated homicide against Ang.

Rider killed in Urdaneta collision
AN accident claimed the life of a still unidentified male motorcycle rider along the Manila North Road in Urdaneta who was involved in a collision with a bus driven by 43-year-old Dante De Leon.
Initial reports indicate that the rider was riding in a counterflow direction when the clash occurred. Emergency services quickly transported the motorcyclist to a nearby hospital, but he was pronounced dead on arrival. Local authorities are still investigating the accident.
