Four cities, 42 towns earn citations of good financial management
PANGASINAN and its four cities, and 42 of its 44 towns received the 2024 Seal of Good Financial Housekeeping (SGFH) from the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG).
Only the towns of Binmaley and Umingan did not make the list.
SGFH is an award given to local government units (LGUs) that meet the standards for good financial management, i.e. accounting and auditing standards and complying with full disclosure policies.
The recipients are the cities of Dagupan, Alaminos, San Carlos and Urdaneta; and the towns of Agno, Aguilar, Alcala, Anda, Asingan, Balungao, Bani, Basista, Bautista, Bayambang, Binalonan, Bolinao, Bugallon, Burgos, Calasiao, Dasol, Infanta, Labrador, Laoac, Lingayen, Mabini, Malasiqui, Manaoag, Mangaldan, Mangatarem, Mapandan, Natividad, Pozorrubio, Rosales, San Fabian, San Jacinto, San Manuel, San Nicolas, San Quintin, Santa Barbara, Santa Maria, Santo Tomas, Sison, Sual, Tayug, Urbiztondo and Villasis.
