COMELEC completes signal-check in remote areas, island barangays
THE Commission on Elections’ (COMELEC) service provider has been busy conducting extensive signal-checks in remote barangays, including island communities, in Pangasinan, to ensure a smooth election process in May 2025.
Teams visited schools in secluded areas to assess the signal quality necessary for the elections.
According to COMELEC, approximately 95% of the targeted schools have been inspected, and fortunately, no significant signal issues were detected.
COMELEC officials emphasized the importance of these signal checks to determine the appropriate equipment to be utilized at polling precincts and canvassing centers. (Ahikam Pasion)
