Tricycle driver nabbed in drug bust ops
A tricycle driver was arrested for drug trafficking in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Palakipak, Rosales, with approximately 0.97 grams of suspected shabu valued at P6,596 seized by the police.
The suspect identified as 25-year-old Eric Olaya Calaur, a resident of Barangay Carmay East, Rosales will now be facing charges.

Two arrested for drugs and illegal firearms
TWO men were arrested in Binalonan after they were caught with illegal narcotics and a firearm.
The suspects, identified as 32-year-old Mark Nel Ramos Carpio and 39-year-old Alvin Ganceña Bondoc, were apprehended during a drug buy-bust operation conducted by local police in Barangay Sta. Maria Norte.
Authorities confiscated from the suspects two packages of suspected shabu, weighing approximately 0.26 grams, valued at around 1,768.00 pesos, as well as a .38 caliber revolver.

Construction worker nabbed in drug ops
A 27-year-old construction worker was arrested by the police for dealing illegal drugs.
The Philippine National Police (PNP) conducted a buy-bust operation in Barangay San Bartolome, leading to the arrest of the suspect, Mark Jayson Jimenez Hilario, who resides in Barangay Zone V, Rosales.
Authorities confiscated 0.63 grams of suspected shabu, valued at approximately P4,284.

4 injured in Bayambang birthday stabbing incident
FOUR persons sustained injuries after they were stabbed by a driver who attended a birthday party in Bayambang.
According to the police investigation, the incident occurred during a birthday celebration in Barangay Nalsian Norte. The victims were identified as Rolando Velasco Junio, a construction worker, 25-year-old Ryan Carl Brosola Junio, 21-year-old Christopher Frias Iglesias, and 24-year-old Kenneth Frias Iglesias. The suspect, Marlou Mejia Raymundo, 41, is also a resident of the area.
The altercation began when Raymundo had a disagreement with another party guest, 37-year-old Dennis Bulatao Mangandi. After leaving the venue, Raymundo returned with a knife and attacked Mangandi.
The victims attempted to intervene.

2 hurt in San Nicolas stabbing
TWO individuals were injured in a stabbing incident involving two suspects who are now in police custody in San Nicolas.
According to the police investigation, the victims, Manuel Bautista Lorenzo, 54, and Tomas Leufrosino Mejia, 49, were at a palay and corn buying station in Barangay Calaocan when they encountered an intoxicated man named Rogelio Dotimas Dulay, 52. Dulay confronted Manuel Lorenzo and, armed with two screwdrivers, challenged him to a fight.
In an attempt to diffuse the situation, Barangay Chairman Murphy Estrada intervened and managed to take away Dulay’s screwdrivers. However, the altercation escalated when Dulay returned wielding a sickle and attacked Lorenzo. Mejia attempted to intervene but was slashed in the arm and abdomen during the scuffle. In retaliation, Lorenzo picked up a rock and struck Dulay on the head. This prompted another suspect, Joval Lorenzo Suyat, 37, to stab Lorenzo.

Man assaulted with bottle in resto incident
A 39-year-old fishpond caretaker sustained facial injuries after being attacked with a bottle by a man at a restaurant in Binmaley.
The victim, Hermenio De Guzman Concepcion, a resident of Barangay Balogo, was dining when he was suddenly approached by the suspect, Carlo Rosario De Guzman, a 31-year-old from Barangay Lomboy Calay, who was drinking with friends at a nearby table.
Without provocation, the suspect struck the victim in the face with a bottle. The victim was quickly rushed to a local hospital for treatment, while the assailant was apprehended and taken into custody by authorities.

Driver nabbed in Urdaneta anti-drug ops
A driver was arrested and imprisoned following his alleged involvement in illegal drug activities in Urdaneta City.
According to reports, the Philippine National Police (PNP) conducted a buy-bust operation in Barangay Camantilles targeting 29-year-old Yahweh Rigonan Villanueva, a resident of Zone 1, Barangay San Vicente, Urdaneta City.
During the operation, law enforcement officials seized five packages of suspected shabu, valued at over P54,400. They also confiscated a package of dried marijuana leaves worth more than P7,800, an unmarked caliber .38 revolver with ammunition, a dusted P500 bill, and the boodle money used in the sting operation.

Man found dead in front of Villasis cemetery
AUTHORITIES discovered the lifeless body of a man in a vacant lot in front of the Urdaneta Memorial Cemetery in Barangay San Blas, Villasis.
The Philippine National Police (PNP) responded promptly after receiving a call from Vic Rabara Bacoto, who reported the sighting of the body. Upon arrival at the scene, police found the unidentified male victim, who was not wearing a shirt and was dressed in maroon shorts. The man is estimated to be between 55 and 60 years old, with a height ranging from 5’2″ to 5’5″.
Authorities noted that the victim had a wound on the back of his head, and blood traces were found three meters away from the body. Investigation is ongoing.
