THE second medical-surgical outreach program dubbed “See Pangasinan Operation Klaro” (Global Elimination of Preventable Blindness) conducted by doctors from the International Academy of Medical Specialists (IAMS), in collaboration with the Pangasinan Medical Society, reeled-off January 12, 2025 at the Don Leopoldo Sison Convention Center in Alaminos City.

Over 100 residents underwent cataract surgery, pterygium removal, and other minor surgical procedures at the Western Pangasinan District Hospital.

Supported by the Provincial Health Office, the initiative aims to provide free medical assistance to senior citizens and underprivileged residents in the 1st District with vision problems.

The activity was led by Governor Ramon Guico III, Alaminos Mayor Arth Bryan Celeste, 1st District Rep. Arthur Celeste, and IAMS Chairman Dr. Federico Malubay. (Kim Gealogo)
