High-value drug target nabbed in Dagupan buy-bust
AGENTS of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA)-Pangasinan, with the support of the Dagupan City Police Station, confiscated 50 grams of suspected shabu, and arrested a high-value target during a buy-bust operation early morning on January 2, 2025, in Barangay Bonuan Binloc, Dagupan City.
The operatives seized one heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing shabu with P340,000 street value.
The arrested individual was identified as Jasyon Rosario, a resident of Bonuan Binloc.
Authorities also recovered 119 pieces of one-thousand-peso boodle money used in the buy-bust operation, a cellular phone, and P600 in various denominations.
The arrested suspect will face charges for violation of Sections 5, Article II of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
No injuries were reported during the operation. (Eva Visperas)
