Major brawl in San Carlos City leaves several injured
A group of men violently attacked a pair of brothers and their friends during a night out.
The event unfolded at a local store in Barangay Bacnar, San Carlos City, where Mike Jude Cabuang Pedroche, along with his brother Christian Benz Cabuang Pedroche, and several friends were drinking when group of men confronted them. As tensions rose, four more members of the group arrived to join the brawl that resulted in Ralph Kevin Cabuang Pedroche being stabbed multiple times in various parts of his body, while his brothers, Mike Jude, 28, and Patrick Cabuang Pedroche, 33, a delivery driver, were also attacked.
The police are continuing their investigation into the incident, and urged anyone with information to come forward.

Driver stabbed by drinking companion in San Carlos City
A 45-year-old driver was rushed to the hospital after being stabbed by his drinking buddy in San Carlos City.
The victim has been identified as Robin Mongos Mendoza, while the suspect is Marvin De Vera.
The two men were consuming alcohol at the suspect’s residence when a heated argument broke out between them. In a fit of rage, De Vera ran into his home, retrieved a bolo (a large knife) and used it to stab Mendoza before fleeing the scene.

Two motorcycle riders injured in Sto. Tomas road mishap
TWO motorcycle riders sustained injuries following a road accident in the town of Sto. Tomas.
The incident occurred along the Provincial Road in Barangay San Antonio, where 42-year-old tricycle driver Jerry Herrera Bregania was cruising on a motorbike with a 15-year-old backrider, both residents of Barangay Sto. Niño.
A delivery boy from San Pedro Ili, Alcala, Pangasinan, 18-year-old Leenary Calderon Manzano, attempted to overtake them on his motorbike, but ended up in a collision that left the riders suffering various injuries to different parts of their bodies. Emergency services responded promptly to the scene.

Businessman injured in Mangaldan stabbing
A businessman sustained injuries in his back and abdomen after being attacked by a man he had an altercation with in Mangaldan.
The 45-year-old victim, a resident of Barangay Tebag, was standing in front of his stall in Barangay Poblacion when the suspect, a 26-year-old from Barangay Salay, arrived on a motorcycle and their conversation escalated into a verbal fight. The suspect then grabbed a bolo from a nearby grill and attacked the victim.
Authorities quickly apprehended the suspect while the victim was rushed to a hospital for treatment. Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the attack.

Man stabbed by drinking companion in Alcala
A 44-year-old man sustained injuries after being stabbed by his drinking companion in the town of Alcala.
The victim, a helper and resident of Pindangan East, was engaged in a drinking session with another male helper when a misunderstanding escalated into a physical altercation.
Authorities are currently investigating the incident, and the victim is receiving medical treatment for his injuries from stabbing and being struck by a piece of firewood.

Motorcycle collision with truck claims rider’s life
A motorcycle rider in San Fabian died after colliding with a turning truck.
The incident involved truck driver Lodrigo Rosario Guitirez Jr., a 35-year-old resident of Bugallo, who was navigating a corner along Barangay Longos. As he made a turn, the motorcycle, driven by 27-year-old Vic Eden Juguilon Jr., from Barangay Aramal, struck the truck.
The impact left Juguilon with severe injuries. Emergency responders rushed him to a hospital, where he was declared dead on arrival by medical staff.
