THE 105 police assistance desks set up across the province by the Pangasinan police office, staffed by 865 personnel, will be active until January 5 to support and ensure the safety of people traveling during the holidays.
In an interview, Police Information Officer Lt. Trisha Mae Guzman detailed the deployment of these assistance desks: 31 located in places of worship, 41 along major thoroughfares, 13 at transport hubs, and 20 in commercial areas.
Additionally, she announced that a total of 1,087 personnel will be assigned at checkpoints and firecracker zones as part of their “Ligtas Kapaskuhan” (Safe Christmas) campaign.
Residents are encouraged to secure their homes and properties to avoid becoming victims of theft and to prevent fire-related incidents. (Ahikam Pasion)
