Fire razes warehouse in Dagupan City
A warehouse in Barangay Bolosan, Dagupan City, owned by resident Jose Sy Tan, was engulfed in flames early morning Wednesday.
Mark Salayog Gonzales, a 30-year-old Community Volunteer Organization member and resident of Barangay Bolosan, reported the fire at the City Central warehouse, which broke out around midnight. No injuries were reported. Fire authorities are currently investigating the cause of the fire and assessing the damage to the property.

Man jumps in front of truck amid jealousy dispute
A 22-year-old man attempted to take his own life by jumping in front of a truck, reportedly due to suspicions regarding his partner’s fidelity in Villasis town.
Villasis Chief of Police Major Edgar Allan Serquina said the victim, identified as Alvin Arceo, a massage therapist, got into an altercation with his unnamed live-in partner while on the street. The dispute stemmed from Arceo’s irrational belief that his partner was involved with someone else. Overcome with jealousy, Arceo suddenly ran into the road and threw himself in front of an oncoming truck. The truck’s driver managed to narrowly avoid a direct hit, and just grazed the victim. The driver stopped to check on Arceo and, upon seeing that he was relatively unharmed, left the scene. Arceo sustained injuries and was promptly taken to a local hospital, where he is now under the care of his partner.

1 dead in Mangaldan road mishap
A 21-year-old man died and another was injured following a motorcycle collision at around 2:50 a.m. on December 10 in Barangay Bari, Mangaldan.
According to police investigations, a 19-year-old man from Dagupan City was driving on the national road when he collided with an oncoming motorcycle operated by the victim, who was a resident of Mangaldan. Both individuals sustained injuries and were rushed to a medical facility, but the 21-year-old was declared dead on arrival.

Tricycle thief nabbed in Dagupan City
A 32-year-old vendor was arrested for allegedly stealing a tricycle in Dagupan City, following a report by the vehicle’s owner, 29-year-old product specialist Almar Siapno Geminiano, who lives in Poblacion Oeste.
Darryl Siapno Geminiano, the complainant’s brother, spotted the stolen tricycle being driven by the suspect, identified as Arjay Mangandi Español, a resident of Sitio Bahala, Brgy. Poblacion Oeste. Darryl attempted to chase the suspect but was unable to catch up. Following a thorough investigation and a review of CCTV footage, police were able to identify the suspect and subsequently pursued him. During his escape, the suspect collided with a traffic enforcer. Despite abandoning the stolen vehicle, he was quickly apprehended by the police.

Motorcycle collision in Sta. Barbara kills one
A motorcycle accident along the national road in Brgy. Malanay, Santa Barbara left one fatality and another injured.
Witness Letecha D. Layda, a 55-year-old resident of Barangay Malanay, reported the incident to the police, which involved her husband, 60-year-old Placido Nepal Layda, a farmer. According to the report, Placido collided with a motorcycle driven by 33-year-old Michael Dela Cuadra Biay, a construction worker from Brgy. Guesang, Mangaldan. Police reviewed CCTV footage from the area, which showed that Layda’s motorcycle suddenly crossed the road, leading to the collision with Biay. Both individuals were rushed to the hospital, but unfortunately, Placido succumbed to his injuries while receiving treatment.

Ambulance collides with tricycle, 2 injured
TWO individuals sustained injuries after an ambulance collided with their tricycle in Sta. Barbara, Pangasinan.
The incident occurred when Teody Vinluan Noe, a 40-year-old tricycle driver, was navigating the National Road in Barangay Tuliao with passengers Myrene Fernandez Noe, 40, and Digna Vinluan Noe, both residents of Baybay, Lopez Binmaley. According to reports, the ambulance, operated by Dennis Quebral Villaruz, 57, was approaching when the tricycle attempted to pull over to the side. However, the ambulance struck the tricycle, causing it to veer and collide with another tricycle on its right, driven by 23-year-old Jiamel Obedoza Pamplona Jr. from La Paz, Villasis. Teody Vinluan Noe and Digna Vinluan Noe were injured in the incident and were immediately rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.
