A total of 300 disadvantaged residents in the Second District were given P15,000 each on November 28 to support their small businesses. Congressman Mark Cojuangco thanked the DSWD for its Sustainable Livelihood Program and acknowledged Senators Pia and Alan Peter Cayetano for their help to his constituents. The financial assistance, totaling P4.5 million, was distributed to 75 beneficiaries from each of the towns of Aguilar, Binmaley, Bugallon, and Lingayen. Congressman Cojuangco emphasized that the recipients were selected based on their needs, particularly single parents, who are working hard to support their families. He also reminded the public that the funds came from government taxes and urged beneficiaries to make the most of this opportunity. (Contributed)
