Tayug holds Girl Scout Week
THE Tayug National High School observed this year’s Girl Scout Week and Scouting Month last December 4 through various activities participated in by some 200 girl scouts.
The program underscored the importance of scouting as a way to shape young people to be responsible, patriotic, and caring members of the community, said Division GSP Coordinator Margie Jimenez.
“This activity aims to strengthen the spirit of service, unity, and discipline among the youth. The lessons in this occasion will guide them in their growth and service to the nation,” she said.
The event was also attended by Mayor Tyrone Agabas, Vice Mayor Lorna Primicias, 6th District Rep. Marlyn Primicias, and Dr. Eden Evangelista, Public Schools District Supervisor for Tayug District I. (Kim Gealogo)
