Dagupan traffic enforcer dies in the line of duty

A traffic enforcer from the Dagupan City Public Order and Safety Office (POSO) lost his life on November 27, while performing his duties.

Renato Salvador, affectionately known as “Badong” among friends and well-known for his dedicated service at the Lucao junction, was taking a brief rest from directing traffic on Wednesday afternoon when he suddenly collapsed from his seat.

Despite being rushed to the hospital for medical assistance, he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival. Reports indicate that he suffered a stroke while on duty.

Badong had a history of high blood pressure.
