THE municipality of Mangaldan celebrated Buntis Day from November 21 to 22 by supporting and providing for the needs of some 200 pregnant women in the town.

Aside from undergoing pre-natal checkups, the expectant mothers were given milk, vitamins and pamper kits to help ensure their health and well-being during pregnancy.

The event underscored the importance of ensuring proper nutrition and fostering the health of both the mother and the unborn child.

The local government also organized educational sessions on the importance of maternal health, mental wellness, and oral hygiene to equip expecting mothers with knowledge on how to care for themselves and their babies, addressing both physical and emotional health needs during pregnancy.
