Man shot dead by cousin in Calasiao

A 22-year-old man was shot dead by his cousin at a restobar in Barangay Nalsian, Calasiao. The victim identified as Carlo De Vera Diolazo and the suspect, Alejandro De Guzman Diolazo, 27, a businessman, both residents of Barangay Gabon in Calasiao.

According to reports, the two individuals were drinking when Carlo stepped outside to use the restroom. The suspect followed him and suddenly shot him. Emergency responders rushed Carlo to a local hospital, but he was declared dead on arrival by medical personnel. Authorities managed to apprehend the suspect, recovering the firearm used in the incident from inside his vehicle. Alejandro is set to face charges for the shooting.

Construction worker stabbed by cousin in Binmaley

A construction worker was reportedly stabbed by his cousin, a helper, in the town of Binmaley.  Barangay Captain Eugenio Datuin of Barangay Buenlag reported the stabbing incident to the police, identifying the victim as 43-year-old Charlo Bautista Dela Cruz and the suspect as 54-year-old Marlon Soriano Bautista.

According to the police investigation, the incident escalated when the victim challenged the suspect to a fight and even threatened to kill him. This provocation angered the suspect, who then went into the house, grabbed a knife, and stabbed the victim in the right side of his body. The victim was immediately rushed to the hospital, while the suspect and the weapon used in the attack are now in police custody.

Farmer survives shooting by fellow farmer in Mabini

A farmer was shot by a fellow farmer in Mabini over rainwater that caused flooding along the embankment. Police investigations revealed that the suspect, Jeffrey Molina Barril, 33, confronted the victim, Noel Mina Bacallo, 47, both residents of Barangay Villacorta. The former then shot the latter, hitting him in the jaw.

Barangay Kagawad Marvin Damasco intervened, seizing the shotgun from the suspect and promptly handed it over to the police. The suspect managed to flee the scene, and authorities are actively searching for him. Meanwhile, Noel was immediately taken to a medical facility for treatment.

Gas station cashier robbed in Mapandan

GAS station cashier Jessica Disu Caricungan was returning home from work on board her tricycle when another tricycle blocked her path along Barangay Aserda in Mapandan, and the assailants took her bag containing the day’s earnings worth over P25,000.

During the struggle, the victim, a 32-year-old resident of Barangay Consolacion in Urdaneta City, fell from her tricycle. One of the suspects reportedly brandished a gun and threatened her before snatching the bag and fleeing in a northern direction. The victim sustained multiple injuries to various parts of her body. The police have launched a hot pursuit for the suspect.

Teen arrested for stabbing incident in Dagupan

A 17-year-old male has been taken into custody by local authorities after allegedly stabbing his friend in Dagupan City.  According to police investigations, the incident occurred during a drinking session between the suspect, a 27-year-old fisherman named Christian de Vera Dabucol, and the minor, both residents of Barangay Pugaro.

Tensions escalated during the gathering, leading to a heated argument, which eventually led to the stabbing. Dabucol sustained a stab wound to his left arm and was promptly rushed to the hospital. Meanwhile, barangay officials apprehended the suspect and turned him over to the police.

Father and son assaulted by businessman and accomplice in Alcala

A father and son were rushed to the hospital after being assaulted by a businessman and his accomplice in Alcala. The incident occurred in Barangay Kisikis, where the victims were identified as Loreto Pasag Naniong, 65, and his son Cliford Itorma Naniong, 21. The suspects are Balbino Olpindo Lopez and Fidel Estrada Pimentel, both 58 years old and local residents.

According to the authorities’ investigation, Cliford was walking along the roadside when Balbino approached him and confronted him. An argument ensued, escalating to the point where Balbino punched Cliford, causing him to fall to the ground. Upon witnessing the assault on his son, Loreto ran over to intervene, but he was suddenly attacked by Fidel, who struck him on the head with a samurai sword, resulting in a serious wound. Both suspects have been arrested, but the samurai sword used in the attack has yet to be recovered.

Top 6 HVT nabbed in Dagupan City operation

AUTHORITIES apprehended a high-value individual identified as the Top 6 Regional Priority Target in a recent anti-drug operation in Barangay Pantal conducted by the Dagupan City Police, the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Pangasinan, and various law enforcement units. The suspect, Marilou Gimarangan Despi, also known as “Lou,” is a 36-year-old resident of Barangay Pantal. She is listed as a high-value target under the COPLAN “MADAM” initiative in the province.

During the buy-bust, authorities confiscated a small package containing suspected methamphetamine, commonly known as shabu, weighing a total of five grams with estimated P34,000 street value. Despi is set to face charges for violating Sections 5 and 11, Article II of Republic Act 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. The successful operation highlights ongoing efforts to combat illegal drug activities in the region.

Motorcycle rider dies in Alaminos City collision

A motorcycle rider was killed in a collision with another motorcycle in Alaminos City.  The incident occurred on the barangay road in Barangay San Antonio, involving 61-year-old Maria Teresa Sombilla Reyes, an engineer and resident of Virgen Selas, Flores Gil Carlos, Bulacan.

Reyes was driving her motorcycle when she collided with the vehicle of the victim, 72-year-old Billy Ignacio Tiong, an electrician from Barangay Balangobong, Alaminos City, who had veered into her lane. As a result of the collision, Tiong was thrown off his motorcycle and sustained severe injuries. He was rushed to the hospital but was declared dead on arrival.

Rider killed in Basista road mishap

A 26-year-old man lost his life in a motorcycle accident while driving in the town of Basista. According to police investigations, Adonis De Vera Vinoya, a resident of Barangay Mapolopolo, was driving in Barangay Palma when he collided with another motorcycle driven by 19-year-old Marcha Jay De Guzman Quinto, who resides in Barangay Anambongan, also in Basista.

Both riders fell from their motorcycles as a result of the crash.  Vinoya sustained severe head injuries and was pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital.
