Two drug dens quashed in Dagupan
SIX illegal drug operators considered as high-value targets were apprehended in Dagupan City during a joint operation by the Philippine National Police (PNP) and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA).
The operation, dubbed Oplan Gandara, also led to the dismantling of a notorious drug den in Tondaligan, Barangay Bonuan Gueset.
The first part of the operation took place in Tondaligan where authorities raided the residence of 27-year-old Ella Mae Rivo Astrero and caught her in possession of 18 packets of suspected shabu valued at P33,800.
Law enforcers then executed a search warrant at a suspected drug den in the same area where five more suspects, all residents of Bonuan Gueset, identified as Anthony Sanchez Tuates, aka Ranny/Ombae, 50; Jomar Celeboza Mola, 41; Rene Orlanda De Guzman, 43; Alfredo Mamatsiya Cabubas, aka Bulldog, 43; and Jessie Jhon Ilagan Medio, 29 were arrested.
During the raid on the drug den, authorities seized 10 plastic sachets of suspected shabu, with a total weight of approximately six grams and an estimated value of P 15,600.
