ALL Certificates of Candidacy (COCs) filed for the 2025 mid-term elections will be subject to evaluation by the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) and the tentative list of candidates will be released on October 29, followed by the official list.

In a statement, Atty. Ericson Oganiza, COMELEC Pangasinan election supervisor, emphasized that until the final list is issued, all aspirants are not yet considered official candidates.

All those who filed a COC have the option to withdraw their candidacies at any time, but substitutions are no longer allowed.

A total of 11 individuals filed COCs for congressional seats across the six districts of Pangasinan.

Mayoralty aspirants numbered 101, while 103 individuals filed for vice mayor positions.

A total of 79 candidates submitted COCs for Sangguniang Panlungsod (city council), and 824 for municipal board positions. (Ahikam Pasion)
