THE Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) chair of Barangay Cobol in San Carlos City has been arrested by the police for large-scale estafa related to an illegal recruitment scheme.

Gibrian Avenido Gundayao, 23, was apprehended based on an arrest warrant issued by the Regional Trial Court’s Branch 56 presiding judge.

Authorities took the accused to the San Carlos Police Station. No bail was recommended. (Ahikam Pasion)
