Chopped human body found floating in Burgos
HALF of a human body, specifically the lower extremity, was found by Bantay Dagat members floating along the shoreline in Barangay Ilio-Ilio, Burgos town around 8:00 p.m. on August 4.
They informed the police about the incident, and the remains were later identified by relatives as Eduardo Gille Sr. from Sual, based on a birthmark.
Gille, according to the relatives, was last seen evening of August 2 when he left their house.
Investigation and the search for the victim’s upper body parts are ongoing. (Eva Visperas)
