San Carlos City kicks-off “AYOS Kalusugan Caravan”
SAN Carlos City LGU launched its “AYOS Kalusugan Caravan” program that will conduct medical and dental mission during a program last July 20 at the CDRRMO Complex in San Carlos City.
Mayor Julier Resuello said that the project is accessible to all residents during the whole year-round program that will be implemented through clustering of the 86 barangays. The program allots 1,000 per caravan.
During the launch, some 1,000 beneficiaries in Barangay San Juan received free medical check-ups and medicine, laboratory services, dental services, minor surgery, free eyeglasses, and animal health services.
“The program will function as “One-Stop-Shop” for different medical services including x-rays, lab tests, pap smear tests, along with prenatal and pediatric check-ups to give quality medical treatment and health services in the community, especially to the underprivileged”, said Mayor Resue.
