PDEA declares San Fabian drug-cleared
THE Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) officially declared the town of San Fabian as drug-cleared, marking a significant milestone in the town’s fight against illegal drugs.
PDEA Provincial Officer, Rechie Camacho, presided over the Awarding of a Certificate and Resolution ceremony in the town at the De Venecia Sports and Civic Center in Barangay Poblacion.
The declaration of San Fabian as a Drug-Cleared Municipality was made by the Regional Oversight Committee on Barangay Drug Clearing after thorough deliberation, validation, and verification processes on May 29, 2024.
The PDEA also recognized the efforts of the town’s 34 barangays and awarded them Certificates and Resolutions for Retention of Drug-Cleared Status.
The achievement of Drug-Cleared Status reflects the collaborative efforts of local authorities, law enforcement agencies, and community members.
San Fabian joins the ranks of other municipalities in Pangasinan committed to maintaining a drug-free environment.
