4Ps BENEFICIARIES RECEIVE CASH CARDS

MAYOR Belen T. Fernandez joined 919 members of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) in Dagupan during the distribution of their cash cards from the Department of Social Welfare and Development on June 14 at the City Plaza to ensure safe and efficient transactions as part of the government’s social protection program.  The beneficiaries came from Bacayao Sur, Bacayao Norte, Barangay II, Barangay IV, Bolosan, Boquig, Binloc, Calmay, Herrero-Perez, Lucao, Malued, Mangin, Mayombo, Pogo Chico, Tambac, Tapuac and Tebeng,

The local chief executive also oriented the 4Ps members on various Unliserbisyo programs they can avail for free such as late birth registration, medical and dental services, circumcision, scholarship program and others. (Dagupan CIO Photo)

NEW GYMNASIUM FOR JJDVSTVSS

MAYOR Belen T. Fernandez inspects the ongoing construction of a standard-sized gymnasium at the Judge Jose De Venecia Sr. Technical Vocational Secondary School (JJDVSTVSS) in Barangay Bolosan on June 14, one of her administration’s school infrastructure priorities.

The gym will be ready in time for school activities by July this year, according to the City Engineering Office, even as the parents-teachers association requested for the construction of more classrooms to be converted into activity areas for fish processing, beauty and care and alternative learning system will be included in the supplemental budget.  (Dagupan CIO Photo)

NEW SCHOOL BUILDING IN SALISAY ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

MAYOR Belen T. Fernandez checks on the progress of the two-storey, six-classroom school building presently being constructed at Salisay Elementary School on June 14 as part of the local chief executive’s strategy for a conducive learning environment for young Dagupeños.

Salisay Punong Barangay Ferdinand Bangsal and Salisay Elementary School Principal Marnelli Sonza considered the project a dream come true for the community to address the shortage of classrooms and likewise for the building to be used as evacuation center during calamities.
