ALS program graduates 2,000 students
THE Department of Education Pangasinan II successfully held a graduation ceremony for approximately 2,000 Alternative Learning System (ALS) students on Saturday, May 25.
Dressed in white togas and caps, the graduates received their certificates from officials of the Schools Division Office, Public Schools District Supervisors, Education Program Specialists in ALS, School Heads in charge of ALS, and ALS implementers.
The ceremony celebrated the achievements of 158 Elementary Graduates and 1,768 Junior High School Completers.
Dr. Vivian Luz S. Pagatpatan, the School Division Superintendent, encouraged the graduates to continue pursuing their dreams, stressing that steadfast faith in God makes it possible.
At the graduation ceremony were Dr. Vivian Luz Pagatpatan, OIC-Schools Division II Superintendent CESO VI; Dr. Marciano Soriano Jr., CESO VI; Dr. Russel Jim Tamayo, CESO VI, and Dr. Cornelio Aquino, Chief Education Supervisor of the Curriculum Implementation.
ALS alumni Ms. Ariane Pader from Tayug, Batch 2017, and Eng’r. Abrean Velasquez from San Fabian, Batch 2015, shared their success stories as guest speakers.
The ceremonies for the accomplished clusters were held on May 24, and for the Productive and Champion Clusters on May 25, 2024, at the Sta. Maria Municipal Auditorium in Sta. Maria, town where Mayor Julius Ramos welcomed them . (Ahikam Pasion)
