LTO Dagupan, San Carlos Offices print license cards

THE Land Transportation Office (LTO) district offices in Dagupan and San Carlos City already started printing driver’s license cards to serve to their respective applicants to reduce the April-December 2023 and cope with the current  applications.

LTO Dagupan chief Rommel Dawaton said his office is currently printing 75 license cards daily to address the 16,725 backlogs in driver’s license cards from April to December 2023 to replace the licenses issued in paper.

To date, the Dagupan office already provided 1,380 cards to replace the paper-issued licenses and has 3,000 pieces of license cards ready for printing and issuance for motorcycle riders is set on Saturdays.

Meanwhile, LTO San Carlos City, chief Aileen Peteros said the distribution of the replacement of some plastic cards is being scheduled based on representation of the motorists.

Peteros added that her branch is also conducting free Theoretical Driving Courses (TDC) Seminar, daily particularly for Senior High School students who wish to apply for a student permit. (Ahikam Pasion)
