Region’s top priority drug target nabbed in Dagupan
THE Regional Priority Target in the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency’s watch list was arrested in a bust-operation of the Dagupan City Police in Barangay Mayombo on May 9.
The suspect only identified as alias “Mon”, 38, of Barangay Bacayao Norte in Dagupan City, is tagged as high individual target on illegal drugs operating in Dagupan City and in other areas.
He was found in possession of 16 grams of suspected shabu with P108,000 standard drug price.
The police also seized from him the buy-bust money, coin purse and the motorcycle he uses in his drug-dealing activities.
Also arrested by the police in another buy-bust operation on May 8 in Barangay San Vicente, Urdaneta City was a tricycle driver who yielded 30 grams of suspected shabu valued at P240,000.
P/Brigadier General Lou Evangelista, police Region 1 Director, said the arrest of the suspects underscored the unwavering resolve of the police in Region 1 to rid communities of the scourge of illegal drugs. (Leonardo Micua)
