P500K shabu seized in Mangaldan drug bust ops
MORE than half a million pesos worth of shabu were seized by police operatives and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency in a drug-bust operation in Barangay Alita, Mangaldan town.
The operation resulted in the arrest of two street-level individuals from Manaoag: Jumel Paraan, 29, resident of Barangay Pugaro, and Juanito Calaunan Jr., 29, resident of Barangay Baritao.
Seized were 75 grams of shabu from the suspects.
Last week, police also arrested two individuals in another operation in Urdaneta City that resulted in the seizure of P500 thousand worth of shabu.
Police are investigating whether both incidents involved the same drug network. (Ahikam Pasion)
