FOR being the top 1 in the Fisheries Technologist Licensure Examination (FTLE) 2023, an alumnus of the Pangasinan State University (PSU) in its Binmaley campus received a P500,000 cash incentive from his alma mater.

Adrian Dela Cruz couldn’t be happier with the unexpected cash bonanza he received during the recent President’s Hour in PSU Binmaley Campus from Dr. Elbert Galas, president, together with Dr. Marie Claire Briones, campus executive director.

Dela Cruz could not contain his happiness as he thanked Galas and other PSU officials “who helped make this award possible”.

He said part of the cash incentive he received will be used to put up his own aquaculture business, a fitting endeavor to apply his knowledge as a Fisheries professional.

During the graduation rites last year, PSU’s top management encouraged PSUnians to do well in their licensure examination as the university prepares incentives to successful passers and topnotchers.  (Eva Visperas)
