DPWH mobilize to assist motorists during Holy Week
ALL four engineering districts in Pangasinan were mobilized by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) regional office to assist motorists traveling on all national roads during the observance of the Holy Week.
DPWH Regional Director Ronnel Tan issued the order to organize the DPWH Lakbay Alalay Teams and be on stand-by in navy blue-colored tents in strategic areas 24 hours on shifting schedule on March 28-29.
The project was implemented in coordination with the Land Transportation Office (LTO), Philippine National Police (PNP) and the Local Government Units (LGUs).
Personnel of the 1st Engineering District in Alaminos City were deployed to assist motorists traveling along the Pangasinan-Zambales road; the 2nd Engineering District in Lingayen, for motorists traveling along the Mangaldan-Manaoag-Binalonan Road and at Manat, Binmaley along the Pangasinan-Zambales Road.
The 3rd Engineering District based in Rosales was positioned along the Manila North Road, Palac-Palac, Pozorrubio; Limmansangan in Binalonan; Anonas in Urdaneta City, and at Carmen, Rosales along MNR; the 4th Engineering District in Sta. Barbara covered the Urdaneta Junction-Dagupan Road and at Urdaneta Junction-Dagupan Road. (Leonardo Micua)
