33rd PRISAA Regional Games kicks-off in Lingayen
THE 33rd Private Schools Athletic Association (PRISAA) Regional Collegiate Games reeled-off on March 13-14 at the Narciso Ramos Sports and Civic Center in Lingayen, Pangasinan.
Six delegations participated in the athletic meet: Pangasinan I, Laoag City, Ilocos Sur, La Union, Metro Dagupan, and Metro San Carlos.
During the opening program, Dr. Guillermo Dela Cruz Jr., PRISAA Region I president, urged the athletes to strive for excellence in sports and in real-time, promote camaraderie, and display exceptional skills of their beloved sports.
Among the various sporting events were chess, football, softball, volleyball, basketball, baseball, badminton, tennis, sepak takraw, boxing, swimming, dancesport, taekwondo and athletics.
Qualifying athletes in the region will advance to the PRISAA National Games which will be held in Legazpi Ciy, Albay on July 13-20, 2024. (Kim Gealogo)
