SOON, PANGASINAN’S STAR INDUSTRY — The province’s salt industry is boosted by the provincial government by establishing the Pangasinan Salt Center. Soon the salt farmer in Dasol will find his efforts at regularly hauling woven bamboo baskets filled with sun-dried salt from salt beds more profitable. The salt industry is a source of income to most residents in this western part of the province. (Punchphoto by Willie Lomibao)
