Caregiver nabbed in drug ops, yields P400k shabu
A 41-year-old caregiver was arrested in a buy-bust operation by the operatives from the Pangasinan Police Provincial Office (PPPO) Drug Enforcement Unit, and elements of Dagupan City PNP on Tuesday, January 09, in Barangay Bonuan Binloc, Dagupan City.
Authorities identified the suspect as Kate Sapinit, a resident of Pasay City in Metro Manila.
Police also seized suspected shabu worth P400,000 from Sapinit, considered a High Value Target (HVI), who was using her practice as her cover in peddling drugs.
Prior to this operation, the PPPO also nabbed two suspects in Barangay Diaz, on Sunday, January 7.
Police nabbed Jay Seguirre, 37, Dave Sagiri, 30, all residents of Quezon town in Nueva Ecija. The operation also yielded P200,000 worth of suspected shabu.
Pangasinan PPO reported that since January 1, police already seized more than P600,000 worth of illegal drugs from operations. (Ahikam Pasion)
