NIA set to implement P40-M Bayambang Pump Irrigation project
The National Irrigation Administration-Region 1 office is preparing for the implementation of the phase 1 P40-million worth Bayambang Pump Irrigation project.
NIA executives met with 22 barangay captains of Bayambang on January 4 to discuss pre-engineering documentation, i.e., Environmental Compliance Certificate from the Department of Environment and Natural Resources-Environmental Management Bureau, initial Information Education Campaign/social preparation activities simultaneous with the presentation of the project prior to the submission of application.
The project will benefit 1,600 hectares of farmland that will benefit 22 farming barangays in Bayambang. (Eva Visperas)
