DOH cites Agno as top performing healthcare unit
THE town of Agno was recently named the best town for its exemplary role and performance during the .13th Provincial Health Summit and Gawad Parangal sa Kalusugan 2023, organized by the Department of Health (DOH).
Agno Mayor Gualberto Sison, together with Agno Rural Health Unit Officer, Dr. Joseph Lopez received the award for the town’s initiatives on health education.
The town outperformed 47 towns and cities in Pangasinan province through its overall proactive healthcare programs with its Health and Wellness Fair, Durunungan Mental Health Caravan, and Rabies Prevention and Control Program that also earned 2nd place for best health care program. (Kim Gealogo)
