San Carlos City hosts 43rd Provincial Jamboree, Kawan Holiday
THE Schools Division Office of San Carlos City hosted the 43rd Pangasinan –San Carlos City – Alaminos City Council Jamboree and Kawan Holiday 2023 on November 9-12 held at the Speaker Eugenio Perez National Agricultural School Land Field.
Kawan Holiday is a KAB Camp that provides scouts with life-long skills to impact on their character, discipline, and sense of belongingness in the community.
The activity that brought together 10,000 Boy Scouts from the schools divisions of Pangasinan 1, Alaminos City and San Carlos City, was graced by San Carlos SDO Superintendent Sheila Primicias, BSP Region I Chairman Amado Espino Jr. and reinforced by BFP San Carlos, San Carlos City PNP, Public Order and Safety Office, San Carlos CDRRMO and the Philippine Red Cross Region I.
Scouting activities were grouped into four modules namely: First Aid, Obstacle Course, Basic Life-Saving and Emergency Preparedness and Rescue 101. (Kim Gealogo)
