THE new barangay captains in all 28 barangays of Mangaldan following the October 30 Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE) 2023, posted by the Public Information Office of Mangaldan on November 1, 2023:

Barangay Embarcadero (Teofilo Frianeza Jr.), Gueguesangen (Jessie Ungria), Guesang (Emeterio Natavio), Guiguilonen (Mark Marcaida), Guilig (Alex Razo), Inlambo (Rogelio Garcia), Lanas (Jaylord Prestoza), Landas (Bernardo Salayog), Maasin (Florida Abalos);

Barangay Macayug (Eduardo Tibigar), Malabago (Myla Mayurgas), Navaluan (Francis Lopez), Nibaliw (Alejandro Barrozo), Osiem (Alberto Llena), Palua (Pelito Ventura), Poblacion (Melinda Morillo), Pogo (Velma Nipales), Salaan (Eduardo Abrogar), Salay (Celodenia Lim) Talogtog (Godfrey Carbonel), and Tebag (Daniel Biasura).

Memorandum Circular No. 2023-166, states x x x “if the candidate for the October 30 BSKE obtained the highest number of votes among the remaining candidates for the same position in the same barangay, and later proclaimed and subsequently took  his or her oath of office, the said candidate now referred to as winning candidate and/or newly elected official “may immediately and effectively assume office.” (Leonardo Micua)
