Malasiqui launches 6th Mayor’s Volleyball Cup
THE 6th Mayor’s Cup Volleyball Tournament commenced in Malasiqui on September 16, featuring 57 teams from various towns in Pangasinan’s 2nd and 3rd districts.
The event includes the 17-Under Inter-High School, Open Age, and Inter-Town Invitational categories for both men’s and women’s divisions. Basista started the tournament with a dominant performance, defeating Mapandan in straight sets: 25-20, 25-18, and 25-21.
The tournament aims to promote youth development through sports, with a focus on volleyball excellence. The final round is scheduled for December this year. (Kim Gealogo)
