THE Bangus Taekwondo Club of Dagupan City harvested six gold, three silver and four bronze medals at the 2023 Smart/MVPSF Luzon Taekwondo Championships held at Tomas Dacayo Community Center in Nueva Vizcaya last September 9 and 10.

The two-day event was sanctioned by the Philippine Taekwondo Association (PTA) and fully supported by the Manny V. Pangilinan Sports Foundation (MVPSF) in the search for future national taekwondo players. Competitions were on Poomsae – individual, pair, and team; and Kyorugi for colored and black belters in different categories.

Members of Bangus Taekwondo Club who won medals were: Angela Eliron (gold, Senior Kyorugi Advance Category), Chad Romero (gold, Junior Kyorugi, Advanced Category), Jandy Viari (gold, Grade School Kyorugi, bronze, GS Yellow Belt Poomsae), Seam Aurelio (gold, GS Kyorugi, gold, GS Blue Belt Poomsae), Princess Sarah Pascual (gold, Cadet Kyorugi Advanced Category) Lionell Valdez (silver, GS Kyorugi), Carlo Resurrecion Jr. (silver, Cadet Kyorugi, bronze, Cadet Brown Belt Poomsae), Lannah De Jesus (silver, Junior Kyorugi) Terence Puzon (bronze, Cadet Black Belt Poomsae), Reniel Verania (bronze, Junior Kyorugi Advance Categoy).
