THE Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster ng Pilipinas (KBP)-Pangasinan chapter held its annual tree planting activity, followed by delivery of free dental and medical services to residents of Balungao town.

The activities dubbed “Oplan BroadcasTreeing” and “Oplan KBP – Kapwa, Bayanihan, Pagdadamayan Dental and Medical Mission” was held last Saturday, August 19 at Mt. Balungao in Barangay San Andres and at Mayor Jose C. Peralta Sr. Hall in Barangay Poblacion, respectively.

Jay Miguel Mendoza, president of the KBP-Pangasinan chapter said, they planted some 2,000 fruit-bearing trees and it was the first time for the Pangasinan chapter to conduct  Oplan KBP dental and medical mission and all the activities were made possible with the support of Balungao with Mayor Riza Peralta, regional director of LTO-Region 1 Danny Martinez, and DENR.

A certificate of participation was presented to volunteers.

The ‘broadcastreeing’ activity was conducted in San Manuel town (2011); San Fabian (2012); Pantal and Dawel Rivers in Dagupan City (2013); Bonuan Tondaligan Beach in Dagupan City (2014); Manleluag Spring Protected Landscape at Barangay Malabobo in Mangatarem (2015); Sobol Village in San Fabian (2016); at the Angalacan River in Barangays Embarcadero, Nibaliw, and Tebag in Mangaldan (2017); Pugaro Village in Balungao (2018); Mt. Zion Pilgrim Mountain in Bugallon (2019); Inmalog Village in San Fabian (2020); and Daang Kalikasan in Mangatarem (2022).  (PIA Pangasinan/JCDR)
