PARALLEL BRIDGE ON DAWEL – Completion of the construction of the parallel bridge beside the present two-lane Dawel Bridge may be delayed because of intermittent strong rains in the area. The parallel bridge is being constructed in anticipation of the closure of the Dawel Bridge for repair after its foundation was weakened by the earthquake that hit the city last year. (Punchphoto by Butch Uka)
