THE Commission on Elections (COMELEC) – Dagupan has started investigation of the discovered more than hundred names of flying voters to purge the list of voters before the Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE).

Atty. Michael Franks Sarmiento, City Election Officer, said the Election Registration Board (ERB) has begun canceling the registrations of the names in the list of flying voters while the persons are being investigated.

“Ang iba ay mayroong registration record din sa ibang bayan”, said Sarmiento.

With their names deleted, they will no longer be able to vote in Dagupan City, but they will be able to vote in areas they were first registered.

Persons whose names appeared in the flying voters list are being notified by Comelec informing them of their offense. (Ahikam Pasion)
