PPPO builds day care center for cops’ kids
THE Pangasinan Provincial Police Office (PPPO) in Lingayen will hold next week its groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of day care center that will host children of policemen in the area.
P/Col. Jeff Fanged, Pangasinan police director, told their Balitang Kasimbayanan ni Sirbilis@ur serbis program live streaming on Facebook last week that Pangasinan police members assigned at the PPPO who have kids need not worry where to leave their children when they report to PPPO or to their respective stations for work.
“Our policemen will now have peace of mind where their children can stay because we will soon have this day care center to look after their kids,” he said.
He added that “by hook or by crook” he will see to it that this project will be constructed.
Fanged said the project is a brainchild of P/Lt Leah Noble, chief of Family Juvenile Gender and Development Office of Pangasinan PPO.
Meanwhile, in his Father’s Day celebration, Fanged advised policemen not to neglect their families.
“Give proper attention to your family,” he said.
He added that all their efforts will be meaningless “because at the end of the end, it is for your own family”.
He told policemen to maintain openness with their children by allowing them to express what they feel through free communication with them.
“They are our inspiration, our strength,” Fanged said. (Eva Visperas)
