Rosario, Dagupan’s new DILG city director
DAGUPAN CITY welcomed Royolita Rosario, the new director of the Department of the Interior and Local Government in the city.
Rosario, former Local Government Operations Officer of Bayambang, replaces Romarie Soriano, who received a new assignment, paid a courtesy call on Mayor Belen Fernandez last week at the Dagupan City Hall.
Rosario presented various programs of the DILG that could benefit Dagupan, i.e., Halinat Magtanim ng Prutas at Gulay (HAPAG), implementation of the Bantay ASF sa Barangay-BABAY ASF Program and the 2023 Rafael M. Salas Kaunlarang Pantao Award – Search for Most Outstanding Barangay Population Volunteers and Workers.
She also briefed city officials on Bayambang’s new Digital Document Management System aimed at improving government transactions.
Rosario then presented to Mayor Fernandez a Plaque of Appreciation from DILG during the flag ceremony at the city plaza, in appreciation of her efforts in hosting the Buhay Ingatan, Droga Ayawan (BIDA) Fun Run on April 30 led by DILG Secretary Ben Hur Abalos. (Leonardo Micua)
