THE Pangasinan Police Provincial Office (PPPO) headed by P/ Colonel Jeff Fanged, police provincial director, has joined the Police Regional Office 1 (PRO1) to have the distinction as a Drug-Free Work Place.

The results of the mandatory drug testing conducted by the PNP Anti-Crime Laboratory on all 3,384 personnel assigned across the province, turned out negative.

Col. Fanged received the citation from Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency  Region 1 Director Joel Plaza during a program after the flag-raising ceremony at Camp Antonio   Sison last week.
Included as drug-free work places are all 48 police stations and other units of the police in Pangasinan.

Gov. Ramon Guico III lauded the Pangasinan PPO for its earned distinction and urged the officers and rank and file of the provincial police to maintain its status.

He also called on all the towns and cities in Pangasinan to strive to make their respective work places as drug-free, echoing Local Government Secretary Ben Hur Abalos’ call on all malls and other business establishments and other stakeholders to also aim to become  Drug-Free Work Places.
