Teen rider dies in Manaoag motorcycle collision
A NINETEEN-year-old rider died in a collision with another motorcycle rider in Manaoag town.
Victim Marlon Miranda, resident of Zone 5 Barangay Matolong, of said town was declared dead on arrival, while another victim, Cyril Nazareno, 18, from Barangay Parian, is currently under observation. They were both riding separate vehicles.
Police investigation reveals Miranda suddenly came out from a municipal street when Nazareno, also on board another motorcycle, was traversing the highway when they collided, causing Miranda’s death.
Both victims were not wearing helmet, and did not have licenses to ride motorcycles.

Pedicab driver drowns in river
A DRUNK 44-year-old pedicab driver in Mangaldan drowned along the Angalacan River on Monday, April 24.
Victim Ricardo Ducusin, resident of Barangay Guilig, was having a drinking spree with his friends along the Angalacan River bank in Barangay Embarcadero, when he decided to dive into the river “to sober up”.
He, however, dove into the deep part of the river and his friends he didn’t know how to swim.
Ducusin was eventually retrieved and rushed to the hospital but was declared dead on arrival.
