MAYOR Belen Fernandez facilitates the awarding of livelihood assistance to some 55 fishermen belonging to the Samahan ng mga Maliliit na Mangingisda sa Dagupan City – Pugaro Chapter last February 13, 2023. The beneficiaries received fishing gears such as beach seine nets (kalokor), ropes, sinkers, and floaters. City Agriculture Officer-in-Charge Patrick Dizon said the group had requested for the assistance to upgrade their equipment they received in 2014 during Mayor Fernandez’s first term in cooperation with the Department of Labor and Employment. THE Dagupan City government in collaboration with the Field Office 1–4Ps Regional Program Management Office continues to update and validate potential beneficiaries of 4Ps in the city to ensure that only deserving families get their due from the government. Mayor Belen Fernandez and the City Social Welfare and Development Office confirmed that 4,889 beneficiaries will be added to the 4P this year after a thorough validation at assessment. FINAL PROJECT PLAN OF TRI-CITY FERRY SYSTEM, RECEIVED BY DAGUPAN CITY

THE Dagupan City government officially received the details for the proposed Tri-City Ferry System that will involve Alaminos City and San Fernando City, La Union.

Vice Mayor BK Kua, representing Mayor Belen Fernandez, attended the ceremonial turnover in Pasig City. The project is expected to increase sea traffic to the three cities while decongesting road travel. (Dagupan CIO News)
