NOTHING FOR THE  PEOPLE – Supplemental Budget No. 1and its concurrent Supplemental Annual Investment Program No. 1 are dead in the water after the majority in the Sangguniang Panlungsod rejected their inclusion in the agenda of a special session called by Mayor Belen Fernandez on December 29.  Th inclusion was flatly rejected by Councilors Redford Erfe-Mejia, Librada Reyna Macalanda, Alvin Fernandez, Marilou Fernandez, Celia Lim, Alfie Fernandez and Irene Lim Acosta to make sure the Belen Fernandez administration doesn’t get any credit for the programs intended to improve life in the barangays.
