Malasiqui barangays’ schedule to enter cemetery
THE Malasiqui local government set a schedule of visitation by residents to the public cemetery by barangay from October 29 to November 1, 2022.
Mayor Noel Anthony Geslani issued Executive Order No. 37 for implementation during the observance of Undas.
Geslani said it is necessary to implement clustering/scheduling of the 73 barangays to avoid heavy traffic in the major thoroughfares of the municipality as well as to avoid full-blown mass gatherings in cemeteries on November 1, 2022, so that responses and measures done against COVID-19 will not be put to naught.”
Barangay residents must present IDs to confirm their authorized visits on specified dates of visits:
- On October 29: Residents of Barangays Abonagan, Agdao, Alacan, Aliaga, Amacalan, Anolid, Apaya, Asin East, Asin West, Bacundao East, Bacundao West, Bongar, Butao, Cabatling, Cabueldatan, Calbueg, Canan Norte, Canan Sur, and Don Pedro.
- On October 30: Residents of Barangays Bakitiw, Balite, Banaoang, Barang, Bawer, Binalay, Bobon, Bogtong, Bolaoit, Gatang, Goliman, Gomez, Guilig, Ican, Ingala-gala, Lareg-Lareg, Lasip, and Poblacion.
- On October 31: Residents of Barangays Lepa, Lokeb East, Lokeb Norte, Lokeb Sur, Lunec, Mabulitec, Malimpec, Mangan Dampay, Nalsian Norte, Nalsian Sur, Nancapian, Nansangaan, Polong Sur, Potiocan, San Julian, Tabo-Sili, Talospatang, and Taloy.
- On November 1: Residents of Barangays Olea, Pacuan, Palapar Norte, Palapar Sur, Palong, Pamaranum, Pasima, Payar, Polong Norte, Taloyan, Tambac, Tobor, Tolonguat, Tomling, Umando, Viado, Waig, and Warey.
- Residents from neighboring barangays (Balingueo in Sta. Barbara and Cabueldetan in Basista) will only be allowed to enter the cemetery on October 30 and 31, respectively while residents from barangay Cobol in San Carlos City will only be permitted on November 1.
Banned inside cemeteries: Unvaccinated individuals and children ages 11 years old and below; alcoholic beverages, sound systems, sharp objects, flammable and explosive materials, firearms, and gambling paraphernalia will be prohibited inside the premises.
Visitors must wear face masks, observe health protocols, and bring sanitizer and alcohol for added protection. (PIA Pangasinan)
