Former inmate shot dead in Calasiao
A man who was formerly incarcerated was shot in Barangay Doyong, Calasiao on Monday, October 24.
Dominador Ferrer, known as ‘Dong’, 60, a resident of the area, was attending a wake in Sitio Basasong, when he was shot by two men riding in tandem.
Witnesses said they heard two gunshots, and saw Dong running towards them seeking help. He was rushed to a hospital in San Carlos City, then transferred in Dagupan City, but died on Tuesday, October 25.
According to police and barangay records, the victim was involved in a murder case in 2010, and was freed recently this year. Police are still investigating the incident. (Ahikam Pasion)
