New 326 COVID-19 cases logged in Region 1
COVID-19 cases slightly increased in Region 1 after it logged 326 new cases or 5. 8% higher than the number of cases recorded the previous week, based on the data released by the Department of Health-Center for Health Development 1.
DOH-CHD 1 said the 326 new cases should remind the public about the continued need for observance of the standard health protocol as basic protection from COVID-19 because data show that the region registers 46 daily average cases in Pangasinan, La Union, Ilocos Sur, Ilocos Norte and Dagupan City.
Of these fresh cases, eight were in severe and critical condition and were hospitalized but are recovering.
At present, Region 1 is at 21% safe level and its ICU Bed Utilization is now at 45 from the previous 215. (Ella Garcia)
